Dyke recently won a bronze medal at the national cadet/juvenile championship in Windsor, Ont.
Wrestling at 115 kilos, Dyke placed fifth in freestyle, but then rebounded for a third-place finish in Greco Roman.
On the way to his medal, Dyke twice beat Saskatchewan wrestler George Ren, who won the silver medal in the 2016 nationals.
Alex Tilley of Holyrood, and Benjamin Gregoire and Matshiu Pone of Sheshatshui also wrestled in Windsor. Pone was fifth in Greco-Roman, and Gregoire finished seventh.
The Canada Games team will be selected next month, with the help of former Olympian and Calgary resident Leah Ferguson, who was born in Newfoundland.
