Food donations to the Community Food Sharing Association (CFSA) keep coming in, even after several successful food drives were held this past weekend by many organizations and workplaces in the aftermath of the devastating fire last Wednesday at the group’s warehouse on Topsail Road in Mount Pearl.

The CFSA has moved into new digs — the former Eastern Health kitchen facility on Pippy Place.

Monday afternoon, three-year-old Allison Clark was helping CFSA employee Dwayne King place bags of food into the storage cage. She was there with her grandparents, Betty and Jeff Clancey, of Paradise. Jeff is a member of the Roebothan McKay Marshall Avalon Junior Capitals junior hockey team, which held a food drive Saturday night during their Mary Brown’s St. John’s Junior Hockey League game against the St. John’s Junior Capitals at the Goulds Arena.
