ST. JOHN’S, NL - The provincial government will be giving an update on how it plans to deal with the legalization of cannabis today.

Recreational marijuana is set to become legal in Canada on July 1, 2018.

While the federal government will be responsible for cannabis production, it will be mostly up to the provinces to determine the specifics of how it is sold and who can buy it.
