Labrador traffic stop results in seizure of marijuana, cocaine

Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Route 500 between Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Cartwright last week that resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine and marijuana, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia.

 In a news release today (Tuesday), the RCMP said a 30-year-old woman from Cartwright and a 22-year-old woman from Happy Valley-Goose Bay are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

 Both have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Happy Valley-Goose Bay provincial court on April 25.
