TORONTO – A self-proclaimed goofy and friendly Newfoundlander will be hoping to win it all on the sixth season of Global’s Big Brother Canada.

William Kenny, a 25-year old offshore oil field technician and single dad from Trepassey, has been chosen as one of this season’s cast members.

Of his strategy to win game, Kenny told Big Brother Canada, “It might change but it will be to be a nice fella, try and get along with everyone and make friends, don’t go in being a loud mouth and getting on people’s bad sides.”

According to the Global, this season features an assortment of angelic and devilish houseguests from across the country.

Each week they’ll look to one-up each other in a series of challenges that give them power or punishment, voting each other out until a jury of fellow houseguests selects the winner from the final two contestants. The Big Brother house’s cameras and microphones will capture all the fun, competition and drama along the way.

The houseguests are competing for a grand prize of $100,000, a European dream vacation for two from Air Transat, and a $30,000 home furnishing makeover from The Brick.

The first episode for the new season will air on Global on Wednesday, March 7 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
