A Canadian dog just became a world record holder.
Guinness World Records announced that Toby, a whippet from Calgary, set a new record for the ‘fastest time to pop 100 balloons by a dog.’
Toby, whose registered name is Loughren Christmas Star, performed the feat in front of a cheering group at the Shawnessy YMCA on March 26, which was his ninth birthday. He burst all balloons in a time of 36.53 seconds, beating the previous record of 39.08 seconds.
Toby’s human, Christie Springs, said the dog had been fond of popping balloons since he was young and she often let him pop balloons in the outdoor swimming pool at their home.
