Route 370 – Buchan’s Highway, near Buchans Junction – Closed – expected to reopen on Friday

Eastern and Avalon regions:
No closures.
Western region:
Route 480 to Burgeo, remains closed. Contractor is on site and the work is expected to take between one and two weeks to compete. A helicopter and bus services is in place to move residents from Burgeo on a priority basis.
Parks Canada advises that the Trans-Canada Highway in Terra Nova National Park is scheduled to reopen at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
All other sections of the Trans-Canada Highway are open with some slowdowns between Gander and Badger.

Individuals should not use the Newfoundland T’Railway system as an alternative route.
