Corner Brook‚Äôs Judy Gillam, who has won six of the last eight senior women‚Äôs titles, is among this year‚Äôs field and was looking forward to competing after a year off last year.

Grande Meadows course superintendent Bill Lee said about 20 golfers from the Burin Peninsula are registered for the championships.
