Nelson Hart, who was convicted in the 2002 deaths of his twin daughters, three-year-old Krista and Karen Hart, found out today he will be a free man.

Hart

Hart’s freedom came this afternoon in Gander Supreme Court when the Crown decided it would not seek another trial. This came after the Supreme Court of Canada ruled last week that evidence gathered in that police operation would be inadmissible.

Check back for more on today’s court decision.

he;s guilty of something, if not murder then criminal negligence causing death...the Crown should follow up with the lesser charge(s) even if he gets 'time served' ,..to see that justice is done. as it is, I believe he got away with murder. but the crown won't touch this again...its a budget decision, not justice decision.

He might be acquitted legally but I don't think anyone in Gander would dare think he's innocent

This is disgusting... I as a father would give my life for my children and grandchildren... I have jumped overboard in water well over my head and I had hip waders and rubber clothes on at the time. My own well being didn't come into the picture. Just my little girl which was my very life... This guy should never walk the streets again....
