Bag limits and possession limits remain unchanged from 2013: daily bag limit for trout (includes speckled trout, brown trout, rainbow trout and ouananiche) is 12 trout or five pounds plus one trout, round weight (which can be a combination of any of the species — speckled, brown, rainbow, ouananiche); possession limit is twice the daily bag limit.

Special management areas opening on May 15 include Indian Bay Watershed, Northwest Brook Watershed, Middle Brook Watershed and Jonathan's Brook Watershed.

Members of the public are asked to refer to the 2013-2014 Angler's Guide for details on management measures affecting these areas.

Organizations: Indian Bay Watershed, Jonathan's
