RNC seek help in identifying suspect in armed robbery

The RNC is asking the public for help to identify the person responsible for an armed robbery at the Irving Service Station on Frecker Drive in St. John’s about 1:30 a.m. this morning.

RNC officers from patrol services, police dog services, and forensic identification services responded to the scene.

The lone female suspect, armed with a weapon, entered the store and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing with an undisclosed amount.

There were no injuries during the incident.

The female suspect is described as approximately 5’2”- 5’4” in height with slim build and short black hair. At the time of the incident the suspect was described as wearing a black jacket, black scarf, grey sweater and black ball cap.
