Two men charged with possessing cocaine for purposes of trafficking

Cocaine and cash that was seized by the RCMP at 4:00 am this morning

The Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP along with the Labrador District Street Level Drug Unit, conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle at approximately 4:00 am this morning. Just outside Happy Valley-Goose Bay on route 520, two men were arrested and taken into custody. Seized was approximately seven ounces of cocaine, a quantity of cash and their motor vehicle. The two men, ages 35 and 36 — both from Happy Valley-Goose Bay — will be appearing in Provincial Court this morning to face a charge of possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

    i would also like to know their names is,nt that allowed by freedom of the press act. i could understand it ,if it were juveniles but they are adults so you should put the names out there.

      They can't publish the names until after the charges have been formally laid.

      can't release names till everything is "official" as in judge signs off...google court docket goose bay...it will be there
