Three males suffer non-life threatening injuries
On Oct. 23, at approximately 6 p.m. Clarenville RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision that occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway east of the community of Southern Harbour.
At the time of the collision, roads were wet and it had been raining for some time. Fire Departments from Sunnyside, Arnold's Cove, and Southern Harbour assisted police at the scene. The Jaws of Life had to be used to remove the driver of one of the vehicles. All three males involved in the collision received non-life threatening injuries. There was considerable front end damage to both vehicles.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Clarenville RCMP is requesting anyone that may have witnessed the collision, contact Clarenville RCMP at 466-3211.
RCMP remind motorists to drive with caution and reduce speeds when road and weather conditions are less favourable.
