Happy-Valley Goose Bay RCMP have charged a 15 year old Goose Bay youth with fines totalling $1,500.00 and seized his off road motorcycle for 30 days for offences stemming from two separate incidents on September 30th, 2013 in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL involving the youth.
The RCMP would like to remind the public that it is against the law to ride your off road motorcycles, ATV's or Side-by-Sides on the streets of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. That you must wear a helmet when riding your ATV or off road motorcycle, and that you are required to stop for police when directed to do so. Failure to obey the laws when riding could result in an impoundment for 30 days and numerous fines and impoundment fees.
