The Canadian Masters Cross Country Ski Championships is coming to Labrador West.

The Menihek Nordic Ski Club will host the event in 2014, bringing in skiers from all over the country.

The bid was announced by Bruce Legrow, national director, saying the choice was made because of “Menihek’s past history of hosting high caliber events and the very comprehensive Bid Document was most impressive.”
