Teenager succumbes to injuries in snowmobile accident

RCMP say the 13-year-old boy involved in the snowmobile accident in Margaree - Fox Roost has succumbed to his injuries this morning in hospital.

The name of the victim will not be released.

Port Aux Basques RCMP responded to a snowmobile accident yesterday evening in the community of Margaree-Fox Roost on the Southwest Coast.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by police.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Port Aux Basques RCMP at 709 695-2149.
