Citizens’ Representative visiting Labrador

The Citizen’s Representative, Barry Fleming, QC, will be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay next week to hold an information and intake session with local residents.
He will be available to meet with the public on Thursday, Jan. 17, 10 am to noon at the Royal Inn and Suites.
Fleming, as The Citizens’ Representative, is responsible for investigating complaints about provincial departments and agencies, with the goal of making recommendations to resolve the issues. The services are free and confidential.
“The Citizens’ Representative is an Officer of the House of Assembly and is independent of both the political process and government administration,” says an Office of the Citizens’ Representative news release.
