Snowfall amounts have the potential to reach 15 centimetres

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for Happy-Valley-Goose Bay and Coastal areas. Rain will develop along the southeast coast this morning before changing to wet snow. Over higher terrain and along the Trans-Labrador Highway south of Goose Bay the precipitation will begin as snow.

Winds will increase to strong northeasterly this evening giving reduced visibilities because of blowing snow in the area.

Updates on travel conditions will be updated as needed.
