As parents, we always want what’s best for our children, especially when it comes to their overall well being.

For healthy development, that includes a number of factors including healthy eating, being active, drinking lots of water and getting plenty of rest.

Last Friday afternoon, children from Peacock Primary School were encouraged to do just that during the ‘Healthy Living Commotion’.

“The Healthy Living Commotion, is an initiative that the Department of Health put out just to help promote healthy living with kids and to help reduce obesity in kids today and trying to keep them active,” said Principal Sandra Broomfield.
