Goose Bay man inducted to The Volunteer Hall of Fame

Max Winters from Happy Valley-Goose Bay is one of eight people from across Newfoundland and Labrador elected to The Volunteer Hall of Fame.

 The eight individuals and organizations will be honoured at a gala dinner Friday Oct. 12, at Glendenning Golf Course in St. John’s where they will be formally inducted into the Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame.

In a press release Ed Roberts, chair of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee said, “These well-deserving volunteers and organizations have made long-standing contributions to their communities and to the province and are being recognized for their efforts.”
