RCMP display items recovered during a traffic stop last Wednesday night. A lone male has been held pending a bail hearing.

RCMP stopped a speeding vehicle on Hamilton River Road last Wednesday night.

A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in a cocaine seizure, cash seizure and a weapons charge.

The driver was also charged with numerous Highway Traffic Act offences. 

A 48-year-old Goose Bay man has been arrested for Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the public peace and will appear in bail court at a later date.

The cocaine had an estimated street value of $2,000.
