Police on the hunt for robbery suspect

For the second time in less than a week, The Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the community overnight. Shortly after 11:00 pm an individual entered the Hotel North on Loring Drive carrying a weapon and demanded money from the individual on duty. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a male, 5'10" - 6' tall wearing a light blue and grey hooded jacket. Anyone who might have seen someone in the area around this time or with information regarding the robbery is asked to contact the Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP Detachment.

Anyone with information and who wishes to remain anonymous, can call Crime Stoppers anytime at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Calls to Crime Stoppers are not traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on your tip, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
