On Saturday August 4 at 22:51 hrs, Happy Valley - Goose Bay, RCMP, responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Labrador Mini Mart, located at 63 MacDonald Drive. The suspect entered the store with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. The clerk put an unknown amount of cigarettes and cash into the suspects bag and then fled the store on foot. The store clerk was not injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as being male, approximately 5'2" tall and thin. He was wearing a white and black striped hooded sweatshirt and light blue pants. The suspect also had on a balaclava and gloves.
