Man stabbed, woman charged in Nain

A 48-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in the chest in Nain, Labrador, Wednesday.

And a 53-year-old woman has been charged with aggravated assault in the incident.

The man was treated at the Nursing Clinic in Nain, and later transported to Happy Valley-Goose Bay for further treatment.

RCMP officers were called to the clinic at 2:13 p.m. Wednesday.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident.
