On April 27 the Town of Happy Valley Goose Bay proclaimed May 7- 13th As Mental Health Awareness Week.

On hand for the signing were members from the Labrador Grenfell Health, the College of the North Atlantic, and Community Youth Network. A number of community events are planned to take place in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week including a calming Labyrinth that will be on display at the College of the North Atlantic and a reading of a book at the primary schools in the Lake Melville area titled, “How Full is your Bucket?” which teaches people to kindness towards one another.
