Ice conditions advisory

RCMP and the town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay are asking people to avoid the ice on the Churchill River between Maxwells Club area to the T&R Marina. They say the area is dangerous, with open water in some areas.

The RCMP urges the public to take proper precautions and to check ice conditions prior to venturing out on lakes / ponds and bay areas at this time of year.
