A couple has been charged with uttering death threats in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

RCMP say 32-year-old Franz Drosch and his 30-year-old Terri Drosch went to a house Wednesday night and threatened a woman.

They say the threat included the possibility of a firearm being involved and a comment with the words "cocked" and "loaded" was reportedly directed toward the victim.

Police say the man and woman then left victim's home in a vehicle, and were later tracked down by police. The investigation didn't turn up any firearm, the pair will appear in court on August 20.
