5 WING GOOSE BAY–  The public is advised to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of the airfield as heavy equipment will be clearing snow around the outside perimeter of the airfield starting January 26 2012 and lasting until February 10 2012.

The removal will create an eight-foot wide path along the fence line. All snowmobilers are advised to use caution when traveling around the perimeter of 5 Wing during this time.

Snowmobile operators may be unaware of the change and are advised to slow down when nearing the perimeter of 5 Wing particularly along the north fence line.
